“Thanks for the great space—and for doing a great job!”
—Firme (Aurora Norteño artists)
Recording a great Latin album requires more than a great Latin band. It requires a music studio with the kind of live recording room where congas and timbales snap and boom. It requires enough space for a large ensemble to record all together and still sound great. And it requires an engineer who understands that with Spanish-language music, run-of-the-mill rock production is the wrong approach.
Latin music is people music. Backthird Audio is a people studio.
In our time in Aurora, we’ve worked on Norteño, Tejano and Latin jazz recordings – and we’re itching to do more. If English isn’t your preferred language, we can even have a Spanish-speaking assistant engineer on hand for your tracking sessions. Just ask!
Recording is not as expensive as you think. To find out what your album will cost, visit the studio and meet with Kyle or Benjie. We’ll show you around, play some samples and find out what your album will cost.
