Backthird certificates are perfect for the talented friend or family member who’s never made it into a pro studio. They’re also great for the band you know is creating an opus here, but just needs a little more help to take it to the next level.
When you buy a gift certificate at Backthird Audio, we keep a credit on file in the name of the person you’re giving your gift to – and we send you a paper certificate suitable for mailing or gift-wrapping. Gifts are good for one year from the date of purchase and can be applied towards anything we do here – from first take to final mastering session.

Half Session - $120
Two hours in the studio is a good fit for singers performing with tracks, singer-songwriters making a demo and acoustic groups with 2 or 3 instruments. Your gift recipient can expect to record 2-4 songs simply and leave with a CD.Single Session - $220
Four hours in the studio is a enough time for a band to record a single song or a solo artist to record several songs simply.Studio Day - $540
An entire day – 12 hours – in the studio with our engineer is enough time for most bands to polish off two or three songs well, including mixing.Other Amount

Note that the above descriptions are typical recording scenarios. Studio recording rates are on a sliding scale, so larger projects are subject to a lower hourly rate.
