Recording Live
Recording "live" means that most or all of your group will play at the same time, just as you do when you rehearse or perform a show. If you perform as a group and know your material well, this is the approach we recommend – it's the most natural, and it's usually faster (and cheaper) than recording every instrument separately. In most cases every instrument will still be recorded to its own track, and we'll be able to go back and correct mistakes one instrument at a time.
